Free to Use

Currency Tracker is completely free. There are no paid plans, no premium tiers, no hidden fees, and no in-app purchases. We may display ads and affiliate links to support the project, but the tracker itself is free and fully functional for all users.

Not Financial Advice

Currency Tracker is a personal finance tracking tool, not a financial advisor. The app provides calculations, charts, and rate information to help you organize your finances. It does not provide investment advice, tax guidance, or recommendations on when to buy or sell currencies. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Exchange rates displayed in the app are sourced from the European Central Bank (ECB) via the frankfurter.app API. These are reference rates published by the ECB, typically updated once per working day. They are indicative rates, not real-time trading rates. Actual rates offered by banks, brokers, or transfer services will differ.

Interest calculations are estimates based on the APY values you enter. Actual interest earned may vary depending on how your bank calculates and compounds interest. The app uses daily compounding as an approximation.

No Warranty

Currency Tracker is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations will be perfectly accurate.

Data Responsibility

All your data is stored locally on your device using your browser's IndexedDB. We have no access to your data and cannot recover it if it is lost. You are solely responsible for:

• Backing up your data using the app's export feature.
• Understanding that clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app, or switching browsers will delete your data permanently.
• Verifying the accuracy of any data you enter into the app.

Intellectual Property

The Currency Tracker application — including its code, design, user interface, and branding — is proprietary. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the app without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Currency Tracker and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost profits, lost data, or financial losses resulting from reliance on the app's calculations or exchange rates. Since the app is provided free of charge, our maximum aggregate liability is zero.
